Prosiect gan Brifysgol Caerdydd yw REACH, a gyllidir gan Ymddiriedolaeth Wellcome. Nod prosiect REACH yw creu pecyn cymorth o adnoddau i helpu cyfathrebwyr ac addysgwyr gwyddoniaeth i gyrraedd cynulleidfaoedd niwro-amrywiol.
Rydym ni'n wynebu heriau enfawr mewn gwyddoniaeth o newid yn yr hinsawdd a pharodrwydd ar gyfer pandemig i ddyfodol ynni adnewyddadwy a'n dibyniaeth ar danwydd ffosil. Mae angen i'r genhedlaeth nesaf o wyddonwyr fod mor amrywiol â'r heriau sy'n eu hwynebu, gan ddod ag amrywiaeth o brofiadau a safbwyntiau i ehangu dyfodol ymchwil.
Mae prosiect REACH wedi siarad ag amrywiol arbenigwyr mewn ASD, ADHD, dyslecsia, a chyflyrau niwrolegol eraill ond yn bwysicach fyth gyda'r dysgwyr eu hunain a'u gofalwyr. Yn y digwyddiad hwn, byddwn yn rhannu'r hyn rydym ni wedi'i ddysgu hyd yma trwy ddangos un o'n gwersi, yr hyn rydym ni'n gobeithio ei ddysgu wrth symud ymlaen, a sut y gallwn ni i gyd wneud newidiadau bach er mwyn ymgysylltu'n well â chynulleidfaoedd niwro-amrywiol.

REACH is a project from Cardiff University and funded by the Wellcome Trust. The REACH project aims to create a toolkit of resources to help science communicators and educators reach neurodiverse audiences.
We face some huge challenges in science from climate change and pandemic preparedness to the future of renewable energy and our dependence on fossil fuels. We need the next generation of scientists to be as diverse as the challenges they face, to bring a range of experiences and viewpoints to expand the future of research.
The REACH project has spoken to a range of experts in ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological conditions but more importantly to the learners themselves and their caregivers. During this event, we will share what we have learned so far through demonstrating one of our lessons, what we hope to learn moving forwards, and how we can all make small changes to better engage with neurodiverse audiences.
